Ty has the heart of a champion

Wow i suck at this blogging thing.. haha i am going to get better at it though..

Ty and I had a pretty good practice today. We can get through the routine pretty well with music. It is definitely the most tiring dance we have had so far. We dance it through about once and then just lay on the ground for a good 30 seconds before we can even get up haha. Some might say that’s pathetic, I just say WE’RE DANCIN’ FOOLS! haha Not sure that even makes sense but it’s funny in my mind. Anyway, Ty has done a really great job this week.  He really has a heart of a champion. I don’t know many people who could be so out of their element, have as bad of a first week as he did, and come back the way he has. I guess that is why he is known as the greatest bull rider of all time.

Anyway we are just heading to the airport right now going back to california. we came down here to New Mexico for the Ty Murray Invitational. It’s a huge bull riding event. We went last night and it was amazing. I was really getting into it asking Ty about all the rules and who each rider was. When you understand even one tenth of the sport you better understand how extremely difficult it is. Those events are so fun; we went to another one in Oklahoma. I think Ty may have just made a bull riding fan out of me!! I got the schedule for the next events so I can go to some in California when they come. It might help that the riders are really cute ;) . It was really awesome to see all the people who are supporting Ty through this journey. Everyone was so awesome to talk to and to get to know!

Anyway we are about to get on the plane right now, so thats all for now! I am going to get really good at writing this; plan on hearing from me AT LEAST once a month! haha jk like twice a week or more..

all my love,

chels

Best blog yet! Definitely qualifies for most improved. haha

So, you earned my respect and admiration as an amazing dancer on SYTYCD and I wasn’t sure how you would do as a teacher on DWTS and it turns out you are awesome. Its really heartwarming to see the friendship and respect flow between you and Ty.

Deep bows to you and Ty! And good luck tomorrow night.

I heard you on DWTS and kinda liked you and researched you and found out that you are AWESOME! You’re an amazing dancer and a great teacher. You and Ty are doing GREAT! And I agree with petalblossom, this blog qualifies for most improved. : – ) Keep up all the hard work and thanks for being a great role model for aspiring ballroom dancers like me! (Well… if I can find a teacher- Come back to NC!! I can’t find anyone who teaches ballroom to teenagers or kids. )

Wow! Just saw that you and Ty drew “Barracuda” as the song for the paso. Interesting choice by the producers/musical team. Make sure to really stay on him about his intensity; you know he’s got it in him, he just needs to keep that part of him that worries about looking the fool in check. You’re doing an really phenomenal job developing his skills as a leading partner though, Chels… he’s a lot better at it than I think even he gives himself credit for. Now I just need to figure out how to get myself famous so I can be a semi-ringer on DWTS in the future. (Know anyone that wants to be a screenplay? haha…)

Chelsie, I absolutely loved the waltz from last week! You’re doing such an amazing job with Ty and everyone is seeing how awesome a dancer you are. :) Love the whole blogging thing, I think it shows how down to earth you are! Good luck on the rest of the season! You’ll have my votes! Maybe I’ll see you on tour this summer.

Sweetie, just keep being yourself, and I think you are doing a great job as Ty’s partner. And he’s coming through as a great guy.

Bwahaha, so much for blogging twice a week. But with that INSANE schedule you had, I don’t blame you. It was great to follow your progress on Ty’s blog and Jewel’s twitter page. Loved, loved, LOVED you guys on DWTS–my favorite couple of all time.

But then again, I only started watching this season after I had heard that you would be on the show. Will definitely keep watching the show for as long as you and Lacey decide to continue with it.

By the way, your salsa routine was awesome! I was bummed you didn’t get straight 9s from the judges. Boooo!

    XOXO,
    Jen C.
